Sabians are the best cymbals at any price point.
When I was younger Zildjians were the only cymbals I played. Now I have switched to Sabians and will play them as long as I am able to play. The sound of their Splash cymbals is unrivaled; even my wife agrees with me and while I still use pads on my drums when practicing, the cymbals are played un-muffled. Sabains also have more nuance when playing jazz and as I age jazz becomes more important and prevalent in my playing.

When I was younger Zildjians were the only cymbals I played. Now I have switched to Sabians and will play them as long as I am able to play. Their sound is better everywhere from the bell to the rim; even my wife agrees with me and while I still use pads on my drums when practicing, the cymbals are played unmuffled. Sabains also have more nuance when playing jazz and as I age jazz becomes more important and prevalent in my playing.
