ECC CCa 6922 Telefunken NOS
These turn out to be a matched pair of absolutely new tubes from 1966. They are very special. Very few new tubes of that vintage. Absolute clarity and none of the warm distortion of English or Amperex tubes made in the U.S.A. Even more truthful than tubes made at Heerlen, Holland by Phillips. John G L (tarnhelm)

Great live performance
A really excellent performance which catches fire. Difficult opera to bring off. Matacic was a great R Strauss conductor, as exemplfied by his excerpts from Arabella on Columbia in the 1950s.

There are better for Preamplifier application such as Siemens CCa etc but these are good tubes to have, remembering that tubes do not last for ever.
