Tiny but essential component
3 of 3 found this helpful These classic Crosmans depend on the tight containment of air or CO2 pressure. Whether the pistol is used often or infrequently, the gasket sealing the transfer port will become worn. In the 2240, you can delay this by applying Pellgun oil on the rim of the CO2 cartridges which will spread throughout the gun when the cartridge is pierced. In the 1377 and 1322, the application of Pellgun may not have such efficacy in terms of delaying wear on the transfer port gasket. After a few years, it will need replacement. This product is the perfect fit.
