As a second-hand product, it does the trick
Unfortunately this, like other Power Supply Units, have a finite life. One would have to accept this fact, and be prepared to pay, what is not an extorniotae sum for its replacement

Vividly described. It makes one consider whether this was a personal diary. Very detailed.
I previously read this about 20 years ago. There is a piece about Foreign-Office-Speak that has haunted me since then. Hence I hunted down a copy, and I am finding its content very readable, plus absorbingly written. Far better to read this book than to watch the film.

Although the radio worked, as it didn't have a clock, what's the point of advertising "4th Generation". A retrograde move.
It did not have a clock, which was essential for me. The advertising never seemed to make this point clear.
