Pros:
- This is one HELL of a step up from my old Palm IIIx!
- Blazing fast compared to the Palm IIIx.
- I love the color screen.
- 10MB RAM feels like moving into a luxury apartment.
Nit-Picks:
- I was all used to the original version of Graffiti, now I have to re-train myself to get used to Graffiti 2. It's kinda different.
- The backlit color screen gets overwhelmed in bright daylight.
- The camera picture qualiti isn't exactly vivid, but I didn't expect super quality. It's adequate for quick snaps, but tough to use outdoors.
Cons:
- Battery life is very short compared to Palm III series. Good that it's rechargable - suppose that'll train me to hotsynch more often.
- The physical fit between handheld and synch cradle leaves much to be desired. Hard to tell if it's properly seated, and it doesn't have a good positive lock.
Microsoft HD Digital AV Adapter - HDTV Display HDMI for Surface & Surface 2

Surprisingly Effective
This adapter cable works great. I was skeptical at first about connecting a Surface RT to a television, but it worked fine.
Note: You will need a standard HDMI cable to go along with this because the adapter cable itself is quite short.
1.8" ZIF Hard Drive Case Enclosure

Nifty little device
I recently ordered one of these to get data from a Hitachi 1.8" hard drive with ZIF connector. It works fine (once i got the ribbon cable right side up!).
Some things to note:
The product color varies. The one I got was white.
It has REALLY teeny, tiny screws that hold the case together. You'll need one of those jeweler's micro-screwdrivers to put them in.
Didn't work with my Windows 8.1 computer.... but Windows XP and 7 worked fine. YMMV.
Basically i just needed to recover my files off the drive from a busted computer. Now I have a nifty, small and light external drive.
Reasons the rating is not 5 stars:
- the teeny tiny screws. hard to see. easy to lose
- level of difficulty is above average. ZIF connectors can be tricky. There are a few styles on various hardware. If you're not sure how yours opens, you can break the plastic latch. Then you're in trouble.
