SBC BBC Chevy Oil Filter Adapter Spin On Bypass 305 350 383 427 454 396 Gm 327

Questionable quality, but I made it work.

I bought this adapter after seeing that it was the same name brand carried by O'reiley but half the price. It had quit a bit of loose casting flash that I had to pick away to prevent it from coming loose while running the engine. The bypass valve did not seal. I disassembled the bypass valve and lapped the seat flat and replaced the spring with a stiffer one from the hardware store. If your willing to do all that work I guess this one should work for you too. In my opinion what I have now is better than one costing 3 times the price.
