Love my Birkis

Birkenstocks have been my sandal of choice for over twenty years. The Birkenstock footbed provides (For me, and I happen to require a lot of arch support in all shoes and have had difficulties with plantar fasciitis from deficient foot wear.) support, and consequently comfort,superior to any other sandals and, in fact, to many other shoes I have worn. The Arizona style is just a personal preference, the footbed carries through the Birkenstock line. I prefer the normal, not soft, footbed. The normal seems to actually be more comfortable...another personal preference. The Birki Flour and Birki Buc synthetic material looks and feels like leather and is much easier to maintain. A note about sizing: My street shoes are 9C. The Birkis come in a Regular and Narrow width. The regular is wider, a lot, than a C or medium width. So, in Birkis, a 42,Narrow is a good replacement for a 9C. They are a little snug in width when new, but stretch a bit and fit very well. They are expensive but wear extremely well. My favorites.

V. Nice binoculars.

This reviewer must admit to a predilection for Olympus optics. However, predilection aside, these are nice binoculars. Well made and light, bright field of view, and as sharp as a good Olympus camera lens. These would be excellent backyard bird watching or travel/hiking binoculars.
