The best voltage reference
The LTZ1000A is legendary among volt-nuts. The chinese market is infamous for selling fakes of this part. This seller has the real deal. The actual voltage was on the low side: 7.05 volts (datasheet range is 7.00-7.50 volts). I used the datasheet circuit & needed to add two 0.1uf caps around LT1013 pins 7-6 and 1-2, after that it locked in and has shown good temperature stability. Not tested for excess noise, however.

DIY a $200 Kelvin cable for your DMM
1 of 1 found this helpful This clip hits all of the necessary qualities for a nice diy kelvin clip. Gold-plated, check. Screw terminals, check. Good clamping force, check. High quality, low price check, check. Used it to make four-wire resistance cable for Keithley 2015 6.5 digit meter.

Simple and accurate
Good: accurate. Capacitors very high quality. Not so good: not sealed in any way, cheap box just held together by plastic screws. Caps are measured at 10khz while 1 khz would be more standard and more useful. Precision resistor comes measured with two different units. My Keithley gave a reading bang in the middle of both. Binding posts are good, but one of mine came loose in shipping, so check it. Components are soldered directly to posts, as they should be.
In summary, this is a great price for three known-to-high accuracy, unsealed, components.
