NEW COMETIC C9316F1 Cam Cover Gasket

Gasket Will Not Fit.

Bought this gasket for a 1960 HD Sportster. It doesn’t fit and won’t fit without rework. The gasket won’t fit over the locating pins on the cases. The bottom holes don’t fully line up with the mating holes on the cases. There is significant “overhang” between the cam cover and engine case on the upper mating surface, about 1/4”. I talked to another private HD mechanic who experience the same The stock replacement fit like a glove. I would not recommend this gasket.
