Excellent Feature Packed Surveillance Camera
This camera design is wonderful. It has all the features you could ever want in a surveillance camera including night vision, pan tilt zoom, wireless and wired connection capability, as well as 20x of zoom. The wireless connection drops occasionally, but the good news is you have the option to wire it directly via Ethernet. I resolved my dropout problem by placing the camera on a Wi-Fi switchable circuit so that I can just reboot the camera if the signal is lost. I have had the camera in service for about a month and the connection has only dropped 2 times. I consider this acceptable based on my experience with other brands like FOSCAM, and have not entirely ruled out the cause of the dropout to power blips in my household. The camera has an external microphone that you can optionally connect. I did this and the sound quality is reasonably good. Good enough to pick up voices at a relatively close range. At Halloween, I could hear the chatter of trick-or-treaters outside. The camera itself seems fairly sturdy and able to handle outdoor conditions. This is my third camera purchase of similar design, but it is the first one to have the wireless option which was definitely a plus due to the distance I would have had to run ethernet cable. The camera is located right outside the window of the room that has my router so I cannot attest to the strength of the Wi-Fi beyond a distance of about 15 feet through one wall.

Super quality image, excellent night vision. Worth the price paid.
This camera has great resolution, and has wide range of motion on the pan, and tilt. The pan and tilt are a little bit slow. The camera really does have 20x zoom. The night vision is very good. The IR lights are very bright for viewing things that go bump in the night.
It is fairly easy to get the camera set up to start viewing, but I had to get assistance from the seller in changing the user and password from the default. The instructions do not go into very much detail at all with regards to changing the default settings.
The camera is mounted far away from my router, so I purchased a wireless dongle to bridge the distance, as this unit does not have wireless capability on its own. Overall I'm super pleased with this camera.

Excellent for incandescent lighting
These switches offer soft start, so in theory they prolong the life of incandescent lighting. These switches will not work reliably with CFL or LED lighting. There are other non-soft start X10 switches for that, but they cost more.
