Set up and use
I had difficulties getting a good swr at first but ignore the recommend length of the wip. My settings were much shorter than on the cheat sheet. Also it needs a counterpoise to work well as any vertical would need. I have not tried it on a car mount but with a tripod mount I have a counterpoise cut for 3.5 MHz and roll it up to different lengths depending on what band I am using. Working great.
