Good book although the movie is better.
0 of 1 found this helpful Good book although the movie is better. Biggest disappointment was the overwhelming amount of references to pop culture and clothing and restaurants. I realize the purpose was to let you in on his psyche and what he regarded as important while seeing human life as totally meaningless but it got irritating after a while. The movie was shorter and more to the point but I would recommend it to others.

Great book that is interesting and well written.
Great book that was interesting and well written. Whether you believe the story or not it is a great read. For skeptics just think of it as fantasy or science fiction instead of a true account.
Give this book to a psychologist or psychiatrist and they probably could diagnose Stewart Swerdlow with (I counted) 8 psychological disorders so a psych student could get something from this as well.
I will be ordering more books from these authors as well.
