As good as original
Being an aftermarket part, I was surprised with the quality of this handle. It is plastic, but then so was the OEM original. The custom color matched the original perfectly, and it fit precisely too. Pleased with the purchase and would recommend.

Perfectly custom fit for my bandsaw, inc...
Perfectly custom fit for my bandsaw, included blocks for top and bottom guides, so much better than the original metal ones

Inexpensive little part to fix a very annoying problem
I installed this Left Cam Retainer Spring on a 1994 Chevrolet C1500 2WD 5.7L to correct the problem with the left turn signal not disengaging after the steering wheel returned to the straight-ahead position. The spring fit precisely and corrected the problem perfectly. I looked at no-name alternatives but went ahead and ordered this ACDelco version, at additional cost, but I figured that taking off the steering wheel and digging into the steering column was not something I wanted to repeat again any time soon. I also ordered the companion Right Cam Retainer Spring (#1964784) thinking I would replace both while I had the column broken down. However, after I removed the original, 25-year-old Right spring, I noted that it seemed a slightly heavier gauge of wire and had stronger spring tension than the newer ACDelco replacement so I re-installed the original and left well enough alone. I have no reason to believe that the new ones are necessarily inferior and the Left one is working perfectly, but I just felt more comfortable with the older one. The Right spring (the old one) has a slightly more solid-sounding "snap" when it turns off the signal. But the new Left one is fine, and I wouldn't hesitate for a moment buying this spring if you have a problem with your left signal disengaging. A couple of tips... This job would be nearly impossible without two inexpensive but specialized tools: Steering Wheel Puller and a Lock Plate Removal Tool. Both are easily found in parts stores and online. Also, there are several very helpful YouTube videos and guides online for doing this job. Took me about an hour in total but could probably be done in 10 minutes if you've ever torn into a steering column before. I included a picture illustrating the placement of the springs. The bottom-left spring (reddish brown in color) turns off the Left signal. The upper one (shiny, original equipment) turns off the Right signal.
