It does what it's supposed to do
It's a resistor. It really doesn't have to do much except fool the CANbus system. Which it does.
Easy to fit.
But stupidly expensive.

Bright, white, clean light.
They're bright and give a good white light. The downside is that they are quite harsh, giving a rather shadowy light rather than an even, diffused light.
They fit correctly, work either way round and are a huge improvement on the old incandescent bulbs.
They do what they were intended to do; they lift the gloom of the old bulbs and give the car a much more welcoming, clean look.
Overall, a worthwhile improvement.
