Absolutely Perfect for photography
For my period piece photography project set during the revolutionary war, I needed something that looked like it could hold up to scrutiny from a Historian. This looks like it was taken from a museum exhibit. It was everything I'd hoped for. The cotton fibers have that rough woven pattern you'd expect from 1770's textiles. The fabric should be easy to tea stain and distress to make it look war-torn if that is your goal. It cost a little more than I wanted to pay, but this listing was the best price outside of the cheap modern looking nylon/poly versions. I'm not sure it was worth the money to me since I'm not looking to get more than one use out of it. But if you're looking to hang this up in a classroom, or use it for historical reenactments for a protracted time frame, you can't beat the quality of this product.
Quick Short Throw Shifter Shift For Toyota 00-04 Celica GT & GTS & MR2 Spyder

Where it went wrong
Two days after install in my 00 celica GT while driving, the steel shaft broke free inside the main ball joint where the steel shaft connects inside the ball. The shifting knob now rotates right and left slightly; a constant irritation as I shift. The OEM Toyota shifter had splines machined onto the main shaft to prevent this wiggle issue. This does not. Secondly the main ball joint and side arm ball joint are a few thousandths of an inch too large. It may not seem like much, but it's enough to make the shifter so tight it's really difficult to throw the gears. The side arm ball joint was so big it had to be filed down in order to complete the install, otherwise it wouldn't have fit into the linkage. When I bought it, I assumed you can't go wrong with a steel part when it's purported to fit your year make and model. I was wrong. This product needs to be corrected.

Solid, sturdy, well made with realistic feeling weight to it. the stock is a hard wood while the barrel and flintlock mechanism are metal. It's a great prop replica for an absolutely amazing price!
