Budget 4k 120hz monitor; a bit dated
This monitor does not have HDMI 2.1; but it does have DisplayPort 1.4, which allows 4k 120hz through one cable. Going from 1080p to 4k with a new PC is extremely refreshing.
Only buy this product on heavy discount though. 4k 144hz for newest gen monitors is around $600 (right now). This monitor is more than 2 years old, has a 15mm bezel, and single cable doesn't allow you to use all the monitor's features. But for $350 refurbished, wow! Just think of it this way; get a dual 4k 120hz monitor setup (quite overkill) for $700, or a singular 4k 144hz for $600. The bezel is annoying, but I'll survive.
I wanted a dual 4k setup, one 144hz and one 60hz (since you really don't need high refresh on more than one), but that'll cost almost $900 with the newest monitors. So, weigh your options.
