Does what it says on the tin

Looking good so far
It seems more substantial than the clear plastic one I had before so hoping it will last longer. It's a slightly tight fit over the frame I already had but this is improved by making sure all the poles of the frame are properly pushed home. The ties for attaching it to the frame are a bit short & one of them came out when I tightened it, but this isn't a major issue as the fit is quite firm. But on the whole it is looking good and I am pleased with the purchase.

Does what you need it to
Handy gadget, but it would be easier to use if the plastic tube was wider - because in use the hydrometer is close to the side of the tube, surface tension tends to pull it into contact and then you can't tell where the surface of the liquid is supposed to be. Would work better in a separate, wider, test jar
