Best door knob I've ever had!
We installed a new back door just for aesthetic reasons. I put the old knob and lock on the new door, but the wife wanted to have a more modern look so I bought this knob/lock combo. Upon installing it, we were both really impressed with the "feel" of operating this knob and lock. There is a higher quality "feel" than either of us had previously experienced. Looks great, works great, but mostly feels very high quality. This particular unit came without packaging, but that's no problem and it was stated as such in the listing; just be aware of that.

Exactly what I needed
This battery box is exactly what you'd expect. The springs are good enough to do the job, good electrical connection is made to the batteries, the batteries are held in securely but they can be changed easily. The wires are large enough gauge to do the job, and they are long enough for most applications. Overall, this was exactly what I was looking for and what I was expecting. No surprises.
