Box: Awesome! Lights: Not so much.
I was REALLY quite hopeful when I ordered this photography cube. The cube itself is quite good, and for the price is almost worth it for the cube and the colored backdrops alone. The lights, however I have found not to be bright enough for the purpose. They do not "flood" the box well enough and they get quite hot. I found that 2 simple goose-neck desk lamps with LED bulbs (60 watt equivalent or better) give far more light and do a much better job of "flooding" the cube with light. To be fair, I do use the two lights that the kit came with to add more "depth" to the light spectrum, so they are useful for that. Just be careful not to leave them on for too long and be careful NOT to touch them until they have cooled off. (Added 7/15/2018) One Last little thing: Have something around to "de-lint" with. The colored back-drops attract LOTS of lint and hair, etc!
