Nice but not at all durable
I originally purchased the Zizo case that this comes with, so I'm basically locked into it now, short of finding a whole new case and clip (which if this keeps up, I will have to!), but the top latch that holds the phone and case in place is just too thin and flimsy to withstand the stresses of clipping and unclipping. I've had two break now after each lasted little more than a month!

Great pre-iPhone, pre-Blackberry PDA
This does everything Blackberries and iPhones do long before those were ever thought of! While the iPhone has the advantage of applied, next-generation technology like the touch screen, this one's greatest Pro is the full length keyboard that is much easier and quicker to type on than the two-thumbs variety available in the competition. This was actually NOKIA's first communicator, and there are actually four newer versions since this came out back in the early nineties (sorry Blackberry & iPhone lovers, but all those great features you love to tout...NOKIA had already done them all, that long ago, in these communicators!). It does it all: internet, yes including maps, email, even faxes, as well as being compatible with Outlook, Word and Excel. You can synch all your Outlook contacts, calendar and tasks as well as documents and spreadsheets. It comes with PC software as well as numerous plug-ins available online.
The downside on this original version is mainly hardware. The case screws tend to come loose after some years of use and the screw housings in the lower section can sometimes break away, usually from the unit getting banged or dropped. In my experience, having now owned over five of these things(!), is this starts to happen after about four to five years depending on usage, which mine is pretty heavy. Also, since NOKIA no longer supports the phone, finding someone who is competent to work on them, this side of the Atlantic, can be very difficult. That said, the newer versions (the latest is the E90) are still fully supported. I’ve stuck with this model, because I have the installed car kit and don’t want the added cost of upgrading both that and the phone while I can still get fully working units of this type, now for fairly cheap on eBay!
