be careful of the noise floor and power supply - cause crackles and noise issues
0 of 1 found this helpful if you can live with the noise floor at 41/48k then this is the best dac/da and preamp next to a halo metric
you can mod it to deal with the noise issues, search ebay:
BUT the cpu load at 196K is unacceptable.
Its a missed opportunity for tascam.
That said i'd probably buy the DA3000 DSD stand alone recorder as the tascam sound is so very very good!!
