Whistler XTR-105 Radar Detector
I've had a couple of expensive speeding tickets recently and thought that a radar detector would be the answer. I read various reviews that regarded whistler as top-notch over other bargain brands like Cobra with it's range. I can attest to this claim because it usually starts beeping from quite a distance away. It's sensitivity is also remarkable it picks up radar from off the road stores behind trees! I haven't had a run in with the cops of late so I really can't say anything about police radar, but it does pick up speed cameras along I95.

The design it's a very sexy phone boost hit a home run with this one. The speaker is another amazing feature speaker phone on this thing is amazing really clear and loud. Mp3 is also great via the speaker really impressive. Another thing I liked was the key lighting, which lights up real bright but the kicker is when you turn on the mp3 player and the center button glows red with a play, rev and fwd button which were previously invisible! The slide up mechanism is also very impressive sturdy and firm.
Dislikes:
Buttons feel rather stiff induce fatigue if you are constantly pounding the buttons. Center button feels small I have small hands and I find myself mispressing (not sure if this is an actual word) buttons. The battery life on this thing is also questionable it takes my sonyericsson about 2 days of heavy usage to get down into the red, but with this one only a day of moderate use and gets to the red. My other qualms are with the boost mobile service. I switched from t-mobile where they really don't have restrictions on web browsing. With boost you can't download content like ringtones, themes, apps and games you have to buy them from boost. The GPS service is also twisted b/c you have to pay a monthly fee and like I said before, you can't download 3rd party apps like google maps on there.
Conclusion:
Great phone not so great network but hey you can't beat unlimited everything for 50$
