External thermostatic control allows energy efficient freezer to function as a refrigerator.

This is an elegant solution to anyone needing to minimize electrical loads. In our off-grid cabin, a 7.5 cubic foot top-opening Igloo freezer now functions as a very efficient refrigerator, using this device. There is nothing to it. Just set the thermostat to refrigerator temp, plug in the device and plug the freezer into it.
