Wish I Would Have Had This Information in My 20's!
1 of 1 found this helpful I chose to buy this CD because I had seen Greg on Oprah as well as his own television show. What he had to say was so right that I just had to hear more. With my background in counseling at the high school level, I knew how faulty many young girls' thinking is. Unfortunately too often, young girls grow into women who continue to make poor choices.
I love that Greg is very clear and direct in his communication. One does not have any doubt what he is saying and what he means. He gives women a positive message that they are smart, valuable, and worthy of a man who treats them like a queen. Liz and he give specific examples of women, men, and situations we know. It is easy to identify with them.
The format of each chapter is simple to follow. I especially liked Liz's sections on "Why this is so hard?" It touches those deep silent fears we are afraid to voice; perhaps because we think they may come true. Although our brains tell us that Greg's reasoning is accurate and faultless, we still want to believe the fairy tale that we are the exception to the rule.
I had originally purchased the CD in hopes that it might be appropriate to use with high school age girls. Some of the chapters are totally inappropriate for this age level, but others could be used. I would love to see a version for this age group.
My only criticism is the use of profanity. Greg is a very articulate, intelligent man who has an excellent vocabulary. I am sure he felt that this was a way to emphasize his ideas to the reader, but he could have chosen voice intonation as well as better descriptive words.
As a woman of experience, I can highly recommend that you listen to Greg's advice. He knows what he is talking about!

Uplift and Comfort
This bra is perfect for those who need side support. The stays help move the side tissue to the front. The underwires are very comfortable, and the U-shaped back gives uplift. The floral design is pretty, but does not show through clothing. It does the job beautifully.

Best Devotional Book I Have Read
This devotional book is different from any other I have read. The book is written in the first person as though Christ is speaking directly to you. His words are based on scripture, and often a direct quote from the Bible is in italic type. Several scripture references are given for each devotion to give proof that what He is saying is true to the Word.
I also appreciate that there is a devotion to start the day as well as one to end. The morning devotion is usually a bit longer and more thought-provoking than the the evening devotion.
I have found this book to be an immense help to me in my Christian walk. Somehow, when I envision Him speaking directly to me, the words take on a greater meaning and increase my understanding of living a more Christ-like life.
I have gifted this book to many people, and the usual response is it has been a blessing.
