More details & product support needed
Lack of product support, no downloadable PDF manuals or specification sheets. Does not state whether it is modified sine wave or pure sine wave, which could mislead unsuspecting buyers.Might be suitable for resistive loads, such as incandescent or LED lighting, switchmode power supplies, small brush type motors, shavers, curling irons, hot pots, etc, but if it is modified sine wave, cannot be used with inductive loads such as refrigerators, air conditioners, etc.. More details need to be provided up front so buyers can make an educated decision whether it is right for their applications.

OK, but could be better
I bought several of these as-is before the transition to digital TV.
Mainly for the ATSC digital tuner with the added feature of being able to record DVD's and tapes.
Most needed power supply board work.
The low voltage electrolytic capacitors on the power supply were underrated voltage & many were bulged out on the top or blown out on the bottom.
That causes voltages in the unit to go way out of whack & cause it not to respond.
Replaced these capacitors with higher rated voltage capacitors the same physical size & that took care of that issue.
The tuner works great & picks up many channels even converter boxes don't in my area.
The picture & sound from the tuner is very high quality.
The VCR is very temperamental & if not properly aligned will damage tapes.
Otherwise seems OK, but not great.
DVD drive does not have an emergency eject hole on the front panel if it freezes during playback that you could insert a paper clip sized wire into to open the tray & retrieve the disc.
Overall, poorly designed but acceptable as a bottom of the line unit.

OK for basic engine codes, but useless for ABS issues.
4 of 4 found this helpful To activate the unit, you have to download QR code reader app to read the code on the side of unit.
Then you need to select & download the app for the vehicle you will be using it on.
Unit is OK for diagnosing engine codes, but is useless for ABS issues, which is what I purchased it for.
There is no ABS diagnostics for 2005 GM vehicles, and apparently not firmware or software upgradable.
I needed to troubleshoot the ABS on my vehicle, and this unit was no help.
I tried a high end scanner I borrowed from a friend & that diagnosed ABS issue as right rear speed sensor.
The HT200 is ok for an engine issue, but you get what you pay for with other problems.
