It has both good and bad points.
I'm not crazy about the fact that it requires small batteries. The earlier version was rechargeable and was reportedly good for 10 hours. This version requires batteries and,. at this time, I have no idea how long they will last, meaning that I'll have to keep spare batteries with me at all times. A good feature is that the volume control requires a simple turn of a knob.

The best book on this beautiful Victorian era glassware
1 of 1 found this helpful While this glassware has been around since the 1890's, virtually nothing was known about it or it's maker, the C.F. Monroe Company, until Mr. Cohen did the research and assembled it in this easy to follow book which includes a reprint of one of the company's earliest known catalogs. For the serious Wave Crest collector, this book is the "bible" and a "must have" book.

Uneducated sellers
Being in the process of restoring a 1946 Indian motorcycle, I am always on the lookout for the many pieces I need to complete the project. This item appeared and was claimed to be "OEM". To the uneducated "OEM" means Original Equipment Manufacturer. In this case to be genuine OEM, this battery would have to have been a real battery made in the proper time period. In reality, this "OEM battery" was actually a fiberglass reproduction of the outside of an original battery, made to conceal a new battery and till look original. This was not the case.
