A great introduction to using the 4000 and 74C series CMOS logic chips
This is a great practical guide to using the 4000-series and 74C-series CMOS parts. Light, easy reading for beginners; but also quite a few clever tricks and techniques for experienced users.

Gluggle jug
Works as described, but the 3.5" one is too small -- the "glug-glug" sound is faint.

A very challenging jigsaw puzzle.
It is not an "impossible" puzzle, but nearly so! Great fun.
