Keep On the Borderlands-RPG brought to text!
I liked the imagery of the environment, the buildup of the historical references to the area, the mixture of action-adventure and the relation between characters. For a book of +/- 300 pages I think the best parts of the module were explored, but I do miss some of the things-The crazy hermit, the lizard folk, and the minotaurs layer were all mentioned but could have been explored more in depth. I also liked that in the module there was the excitement of magical booty-the only reference in this book to magic booty were some arrows. What about the old elven magic boots? Or the ring of invisibility? Even the magic spear of the minotaur....Perhaps these things could be explored in a subsequent book. Great character development. The keep itself never seemed more vivid!
