DO NOT PURCHASE IF YOU RIDE A MOTORCYCLE!
I failed to do adequate research on this phone and it cost me. I was under the impression only the HTC ONE M9 had the following issue. The rear camera has been rendered useless. I finally decided to upgrade from my trusty original HTC ONE after the screen started acting up when pulled from sleep mode. I would have to turn it on & off or restart it to get it back. The original rode on the handlebars of my Victory Cross Country motorcycle for over 40,000 miles without issues. But it only took a week & barely 1,000 miles for the camera in the HTC ONE M8 to get the shakes. The rear camera now has a vibration & buzzing noise rendering it useless. Since I was traveling across the country when this happened, the return window also expired, so now I have another broken HTC.
