Expect shipping damage. No step by step instructions. Limited range of motion. Still good value for the money IMO.
3 of 3 found this helpful Very solid and sturdy design. I've had it for over 2 weeks now, and love it. Easy to switch between exercises, and good value for the money. That said. You should 100% expect there to be "in transit" damage. It's over 150 lbs, and most delivery people simply don't care. Mine was minor. Simple cosmetic damage to the mounted name plate, but I've heard some pretty bad experiences. Also, the machine is big but range of operation is relatively small, so bigger guys(for reference, I'm 6 ft) may have problems getting full range of motion on some exercises. I tend to hit the weight stack on the top stop on some exercises if I don't watch my form or stand in the right spot. Lastly, and this is by far the most annoying thing about this product, there are NO step by step assembly instructions at all with this machine!! None whatsoever. You get a box full of parts, and a couple of numbered diagrams with pictures. They are beyond confusing. Even if you're mechanically inclined it will take you several hours to put it together. It took me the better part of 7 hours, with a few breaks in between. Also, I would highly recommend using a ratchet instead of the adjustable wrench that is suggested in the instructions. There are issues, but overall I'm happy with it so far.
