3 of 3 found this helpful These are used injectors that have been cleaned. I put them in in 160 miles later number 5 cylinder has failed. I will go home get my used injectors that had 165,000 miles on them. Clean them and put them back in
I did ohm check them and they all checked out at 10.0. after me Lily checking cylinder number 5. I also replaced the coil the spark plug and wire on number five. after I convinced that there could be no other issue but the injector even though it checked out at the correct ohmage I replaced it. I had to clean my old injector and when I did I also battery check the bad injector and it was locked up it wasn't clicking. After cleaning my old injector and putting it back in engine startup codes want to weigh all 8 cylinders are firing back in business. Injectors came in a bag not until five boxes. My stock injectors have the original printed lettering on the injector that were placed there by the manufacturer. New injectors I received were cleaned but all the writing was off of the injector most likely because they were old Sonic cleaned.
bottom line these guys are taking junkyard injectors cleaning them putting them in a bag and passing them off for new when they are not new their old junkyard injectors that are cleaned. Do a YouTube video on how to clean your injector it's pretty simple really
About 10 bucks in 5 minutes time you can build the tool to clean your injectors and test them. My car ran it just had dirty injectors was getting poor mileage.
These are not new injectors they're just a straight rip off I'm not angry about the fifty bucks I'm angry about the hours of work to diagnose the car thinking maybe something else failed and I linked it in a hundred and forty miles from lake Havasu City Arizona back to Las Vegas getting 7 miles to the gallon with a dead cylinder.
