Inspires the warm feelings of the Christmas season...
Traditional Christmas music beautifully and skillfully sung in rich baritone, for which Roger Whittaker is renowned. This CD is a must-have for your Christmas audio collection; especially lovely for family and social gatherings .

The Golden Egg Cup
I'm an American who discovered The Royle Family many years ago when it was featured back to back on BBCA. I love them! Before long, I had collected all of the videos and, with the exception of Joe's Crackers, have the entire series on DVD's. Google is a great aid to understanding Brit slang; the scripts in book form that I bought are a big help as well, and I like the fact that the dvd's have subtitles. The concept and writing are top and the casting couldn't have been better -- the actors mesh in a very natural fashion, and although Jim is hilarious, it's hard to decide who my favorite character is. I was disappointed that Doreen Keough wasn't in The Golden Egg Cup, and miss Liz Smith terribly. I'm always happy to see a new release and will buy Joe's Crackers when it's out at the end of this month (Jan. 2011). The only other Brit comedy that I enjoy equally well is At Home With The Braithwaites; indeed, both series' can be characterized as brilliant and smashing. Long live the Queen, long live British comedy!

Beyond the Square Crochet Motifs by Edie Eckman (2008,
1 of 1 found this helpful This is an absolutely GORGEOUS Book! The instructions are concise and easy to understand; full color photos add to the appeal, and the addition of graphs is a further aid to ease of use. The spiral binding could be all any reader would want, if not that some of the inked pages stick together upon initial perusal, compromising the integrity of the book by causing tears. Overall, a book that I highly recomend to crafts-persons of all skill levels.
