Ronnie's Magnum Opus
I had enjoyed Ronnie Laws' brand of contemporary jazz music since the beginning (his debut), having first discovering him as a teenager ("Always There", and the classic "Friends and Strangers"). This album "Every Generation" is definitely a notable classic, and considered by many the best album of his career; it's slightly different than Ronnie's previous efforts, venturing into textural landscapes combining orchestral string arrangements on some of the tracks not heard in contemporary jazz at that time; at times the songs are upbeat, danceable and funky, while some of the songs venture into ballad territory (Love's Victory"). I was delighted that this classic album has recently been re-issued in CD format, and I purchased it immediately-for me, the title song ("Every Generation") brings back a flurry of memories and a case of nostalgia.

Fantastic movie!
If you are a fanatic of Frank miller's stories, then be prepared to watch one of the best movies that came out in 2005. Buy it!

Simply Excellent
This is a great sword/fantasy movie series. Excellent acting, graphics, the whole 9. Worth having in your DVD collection!
