A great dive computer that will grow with you
This a great dive computer. I could quote what Dive Rite's website says about these, I'll just let you read that for yourself. Look up Dive Rite Trio.
When dive computers were young, Seiko made all of them. This computer is one of those that Seiko designed. Many major dive brands used Seiko computers. Sopras, OMS, Dive Rite, Tusa. If it looks the same, it is the same.
The major features that I like best are:
1.) Nice big display with a back light
2.) Three different oxygen mixtures that can be switched on the fly
3.) No feature to pay extra for so you can activate them. Everything works out of the box!
4.) The feature I like best is that the battery will last for years, new computers require a LOT of battery maintenance. YOU WILL OPEN THEM MANY TIMES DURING THEIR LIVES ON YOUR WRIST! Yup nice big display with pretty colors on newest computers, but there is price. This computer won't need a battery for at least 3 years, 5 years is very likely.
5.) This computer will serve most recreational divers for their entire life. It will let you grow from open water to nitrox (which is a far most will go). You can do deeper air dives and then decompression 50% oxygen then switch to pure oxygen. This computer will always work for you on warm water trips.
6.) It is wrist mounted out the box, which is what I prefer.
7.) A nifty feature is that it has built in compass. I wouldn't use it, but some people might like it.

Great dive computer that will grow with you
This is one of the best dive computers ever. It does everything you wished it did. The display is more than big enough. You can switch gases on the fly. The battery lasts years and is user changeable and generic (CR2032). This computer will grow with you as you expand your experience. The only thing it doesn't do is helium. For the price you can buy these at today, it is money very well spent.

Silly Tools
2 of 2 found this helpful This is one of the funniest tools I have ever seen, for that reason I give it five stars. Combination tools are very rarely a good thing. Ladies, please do buy one of these for your male counterpart, if you want to make him snicker. I have one of these is set in frame in my office with the caption "If you think this is a smart idea, we will NOT get along"
