the name of this funk
This is one of those"if you don't know,you better ask somebody" discs. Full of funky rhthyms, arranged and produced by Charles Stepney,(who worked extensively w/Earth,Wind&Fire),beautiful synthesizer work and sweet vocals, this was one disc i could not wait to see on cd. Ramsey Lewis was one of the great keyboardists of the 20th century, and his work on this disc,the previous disc titled Salong, and the disc following this one,Sun Goddess, gave his music an accessibility that had been missing, and introduced him to a wider audience.
