Great datacenter MLC drive at consumer TLC drive price

PROS: 1. Peace of mind from power loss protection 2. Intel's legendary SSD reliability and unbeatable price for an 2-bit MLC drive. No slow down at sustained sequential write. CONS: 1. Intel SSD Toolbox doesn't show total byte written because it's HP OEM drive. However, you can check total sector written (x512 byte = total bytes written) at HWiNFO64. 2. Windows 10 recognition issue happened at my ASUS ROG G750JW laptop, while this drive works fine at Ryzen 7 1700 + MSI B350M Gaming Pro desktop. At the laptop, I had to uninstall the SSD driver in device manager and make Windows scan new hardware after every booting. Generally, my laptop had no problem with 10+ various consumer SSDs. No guarantee on 100% compatibility with laptops. Anyway, it's an incredible drive at this price range. Highly recommended.

Mandatory for external hard drive

Before I use this Y cable, USB 3.0 external hard drives were spinning and stopping repeatedly while I backed up a desktop even though I connected it into the back port. Task manager showed the write speed unstable (frequently goes to 0 MB/s).// This cable showed me the non-stop back-up. The power support cable has a very generous length of 2 feet. It definitely works for any configuration of the USB port. I love this!
