Excellent replacement for factory original

It fits perfectly on my IC-T8A and of note is that the clip that holds the battery pack to the HT (not the belt clip) is thicker and properly tapered, so I don't anticipate it snapping off like it did on the stock battery pack (a common and well-known problem). It's new so of course it's holding a charge just fine. Looking at the pack, it's indistinguishable from the factory-original pack, including the thickness, even though this pack is 850 mAh compared to 680 mAh for the original. A nice plus is that it's made in the USA, so I don't have to worry about an unknown overseas manufacturer if there are problems.

Fits perfectly and is rugged!

This fits my phone perfectly. It's rugged and... it's in my favorite color :) which also makes it easier to spot if I forget where I put it. (Yet another senior moment!) I wasn't sure about the built-in screen protector, thinking it might affect the touch screen sensitivity, but it works fine, although my finger drags a little more than with the glass screen. No problem since it will keep me from scratching the glass. The built-in stand is a *grea* addition and I'm getting a lot of use out of. Calling it "military" is pretty funny (wouldn't it be camouflage color? Ha!) even though it does have that chunky military look to it. This is my second Poetic case -- the previous one was for my Moto G5plus which also fit perfectly, but didn't have the stand. I highly recommend it.

Easy to use, makes good espresso

This couldn't be easier to use and it really does make a decent espresso, better than I would have thought for a manual machine. While there isn't crema on top, after drinking it (in a regular ceramic espresso cup), there is crema left on the bottom of the cup! The best grind I've found is quite a bit more coarse than for my Rancilio electric machine. I'm guessing that pre-ground espresso espresso coffee like Lavazza or Illy intended for a Moka pot will probably work ok. The only negative is that after cleaning it apparently needs to be kept disassembled for at least a couple of days to throughly dry or it will have a funky smell when you open it up the next time to use it. If that happens, hot water will flush out the smell. I'm thinking I should store it disasembled in a small box.
