Very readable, solid Bible

I bought this Bible for my very dear friend, Kev. He is delighted with it, "Best one yet". Excellent very large print - can read without reading glasses. Unlike reference Bible, not distracting. I believe that believers, on the whole, should do their own cross referencing, with, very often, an exhaustive concordance. The Bible is to be read focused, not in distraction - it is not social media, but rather a great escape and place of rescue from such driven approval seeking. God bless your reading. 😊🌈🙏🌴

Very good biography of two very extraordinary Christian men. Also much of the context of the very difficult times they lived in described. Interestingly - astonishingly - another book I picked up : "London in the Eighteenth Century - A Great and Monstrous Thing" - Jerry White - very generously dedicated 2 pages to John and Charles Wesley - combined. Very prejudiced - surely. John was a man well ahead of and informed of his times. Charles a first rate preacher, poet and songwriter. Courage!
