Rosewill RSV-Z2600 Metal/Steel 2U Rackmount Server Chassis with 3 Fans
Aug 30, 2016
Mostly good
Mostly a nice piece for home use, but clearly not a pro-level item.
Power and reset buttons on front panel are not recessed nor guarded, so they're easier to bump than I'd like.
PSU must be a 80mm fan type. 120mm fans are mounted against the top or bottom (depending on which way you put the PSU in the case) and will get no airflow if you don't align the vents and have nothing above/below the case. That's the way of a 2u case with a commodity PSU, typical problem of the breed.
Installing drives is a bit wonky. You don't really want to have to service this, get it running and ideally leave it alone. But coupled with an AM1-M, Athlon 5350, 8gb of DDR3, and a small SSD and it's a lovely home server for a home site and for serving out from the NAS.

Good chain.
The strongest chain on the market, and therefore one that requires the least adjustment.
Don't skimp on chains, brakes, nor tires.
MEGAN RACING FRONT SWAY BAR VW GOLF GTI 06-13/ JETT 05-13 / PASSAT 2.0T 06-08

Reasonable stock replacement
For the money, very workable. Installed in a 08 GTI with the matching Megan rear bar. Set front to hard (inner holes) and rear to soft (outer holes). Shifts neutral point of the car back slightly, away from understeer, but far less twitchy than rear bar alone--doubly so if rear bar is set to hard.
Things to know:
-You will need a front end alignment after doing the install, and it's fairly tough. Requires removal of the subframe, which holds the steering rack and lower control arms in place.
-Later MKV and on require a drill to remove the peening of the stock brackets for reuse.
-Bushings are not set up for grease paths, so expect to work on them if you're adding zerks and lines. They will squeak eventually if you do not do this. That said, the bushings can be removed afterwards without much trouble, it's just fiddly.
-The bushings are the wrong shape to fit the OEM brackets. Not a big deal, trim 1-2mm off the flat side so that there's a small amoun of preload on them when the two bracket halves are tightened down to spec.
-If you're anal-retentive, wrap the bar longitudinally with painter's tape during install. The finish is going to get chewed up from trying to wiggle it into position. Or you could stop being precious about your little hatchback and get on with your life.
Basically what you'd expect for the money. Interestingly, the OEM bar on my car was bent slightly, so I'm viewing this along the lines of a very mild upgrade for damaged OEM parts, instead of a proper upgrade.
