I was a little nervous at first, as the first thing I do with second-hand discs is inspect them and there were some water-like marks on some of the discs. But they all played perfectly, 100% no complaints! Thank you very much, this is a great set and I hope to enjoy it for a long while!

Better Than Expected
This is a bluegrass journey through a sometimes quiet, sometimes funny and irreverent world. My favorites--aside from Blackbirds, with its amazing guitar work--is probably La Petite Mort, which is funny and wrong in the best ways. The rest of the album is often low-key but still sticks with you. Bluegrass country is not usually my jam but I've loved this record for a long time. McKeown is deft with her finger picking and even the songs I don't listen to as much can stick in my head.
