Yep it works great, buy it

After someone left my freezer door ajar and I lost a lot of food, I wanted something to alert me next time, as it's happened twice in my life and for me it feeds the nightmares! This device does exactly what I wanted it to do, and I get to monitor other areas as well. Digits are nice and big for these 60yo eyes. I wasn't sure whether my AA batteries would hold up in the freezer, but so far they have worked just fine. You'll need 2x AA for each of two sensors, and 3x AAA for the main unit. I'm a software guy, and I know that if the firmware for something isn't done right, the whole product suffers. I've had no issues at all with firmware, everything does what you think it should do and without any hint of slowness etc. For the incredibly low price, you would and should fully expect there to be alist of things that could be improved. Well, about the only thing I can think of is that when I first got this, I put some really old batteries in, and instead of the unit either be blank screen or telling me voltage was too low, it started up, then reset, then started up, then reset etc, about once every second. I think it's a bit harsh to say anything bad about this, as I should have used decent batteries in the first place.

Expected rubbish for the price I paid, pleasantly surprised with products performance

Maybe it's from China, maybe not. This is a great product that was easily fitted and works fantastic. This was my first disc brake pad change on an ebike and was painless. Surprised.
