It was a good deal for the price, about a quarter of what they sell now.
It worked out fine. I did not want to spend $100 for a brand new one since I am using an old computer and didnt want a driver issue. This scanner came out about the same year as my computer (2007) so I thought it would be a good fit. The images are adequate for documents.
