Connectors don't fit properly
I used these in a 3.5L, 5-cylinder, 2005 GMC Canyon. The electrical connection on this coil has a protruding piece of angled plastic that corresponds to a matching tab/notch on the female connector. This piece of angled plastic is about 1/32" too long, which makes it impossible to 'lock' the connections together. While trying to connect them, I applied too much force, and actually damaged the contacts within the female connector, leading to misfires on that cylinder. Now I need to replace that connector for another $40.(ACDelco PT1496). For the remaining coils, I shaved down the end of that angled piece about 1/32" using a knife, and everything worked. This set did have a nice price, but I was penny-wise and pound-foolish.
