Other uses
4 of 5 found this helpful The stated use is for infrared cameras. After reading about near infrared as a healing frequency, that is how we use it. The infrared penetrates several centimeters below the skin to stimulate the cells and production of nitric oxide, which would dilate the arteries. 5 minutes seems to be a good amount of time to hold it there. After that, it gets too hot and needs to be held a couple of millimeters away from the skin.
