Not bad but I like my old one better!

This is not bad but I have an older model (the 900 one) and decided to take it to the office and get this one for home. Its really not bad but I feel like the older one does a better job than this. This was supposed to be a lot more powerful than my other one (1200 x 900) but I'm using to make my smoothies with the same fruits and even after blending longer still not as smooth as with my olde one. I think is something to do with the new blade design.
