Oregon 42-047 Precision Blade Balancer

Oregon blade balancer

The Oregon blade balancer works perfectly. It is well made and easy to use. Suggestion is that it should come with a cover to protect it from grinder dust and debris while not in use. And as a bonus, add mounting hardware. Other than that, it works perfectly and is a great buy for anyone that wants a fool proof way of balancing blades.

Heidts SP-101-K 2'' Dropped Spindle

Heidts Mustang II 2-inch dropped spindles

Have a Heidts Mustang II front end under a 52 Chevy BelAir and wanted the front a little lower. Original spindles were Heidts so it should be a quick change out. Was surprised the dropped spindles came painted black (saved me some work). Also caught them on sale (saved me some $$$). They were drop-shipped directly from Heidts. Change out was quick and easy. All machining was exact so disc brake brackets fit perfectly, bearings slid on perfectly, and ball joints and tie rod ends installed perfectly. Couldn't have been an easier install. Measured height of front wheel opening before and after and total drop on this car is almost exactly 2 inches. I have never had problems with Heidts products.
