One of the best books on Georgia O'Keeffe!
One of the best comparisons about compatibility. The author drew upon their likes, and
dislikes and showed the reader why there was instant attraction for one another.
The black and white photos are wonderful. They show Miss O'keeffe as a warm,
caring person. Many I have never seen in any other book.
I enjoyed the heading of the chapters. It made the reader want to skip
around in the book and discover a undiscovered gem of information.
The first part of the book is entitled "The Work". Many writers and scholars wrote these chapters. This gave the reader many different views. Georgia was a mystery and the reader
enjoys this perspective of a fascinating woman.
The second part is entitled "The Woman". I really felt that knew Miss O'Keeffe quite a bit better. Merrill and Bradbury are the editors and what they chose to put in this book was a huge task.
