Excellent, comprehensive dictionary
Excellent, up-to-date, unabridged dictionary (latest edition published November 2018). Mainly for UK users, but includes US and Canadian terms & usages. No illustrations, which conserves space.I'm not sure why it's not readily available in North America.
The only drawback is the pronunciations; they use the International Phonetic Alphabet, which is probably not familiar to most North American dictionary users.
