ELECTRIC OUTBOARD BATTERY BOX CARRIER WITH USB CHARGER, BREAKER & 12V SOCKET

Makes your big battery safe, accessible, easily transportable and gives you some peace of mind

Provides a safe way to charge, use, store and transport a big battery. The battery I have is 110AH and it just fits by the skin of it's teeth. The lid of the box is held in place by the strap - there are no clasps to secure the lid to the box. If your were to carry the box by the lid handle (it also has handles at the side) you would be relying on just the clasp of the strap to hold everything together. The terminals on the outside are connected internally to the battery terminals which means the battery can be charged and used without having to take the lid off which is very useful. Wingnut covers for the terminals are provided for when they are not being used but when you take them off there is no handy spot on the box to store them - careful not to lose them. The usb port and the 12v cigarette connector are both fused. The fuses can be reset by pushing a button on the lid - convenient and a good safety feature. The usb port is the low power variety and would take an eternity to charge a modern mobile phone but I've found if you plug in a usb adapter to the 12v cigarette lighter on the other side your phone charges in no time. This box is expensive but batteries are hazardous and for me it's worth it for the utility value, safety features and the overall peace of mind.
