A Great 3D Fighter
2 of 2 found this helpful Tobal is a great 3D fighting game that features some extras that help keep the game fresh. Like Ehrgeiz, Tobal features a dungeon mode in addition to the standard fighting game. The dungeon mode in Tobal is not quite as good as Ehrgeiz’s, it is still fun. The fighting game portion is also well done, with interesting characters designed by Akira Toriyama (Dragon Ball Z, Chrono Trigger). There are also tons of different moves to learn for each character which also adds a lot to the game.
Tobal is a great fighter with tons of replay value and a fun dungeon mode. Highly recommended.
Pros:
- High replay value
- Strange characters
- Unique dungeon mode
Cons:
- Music can get annoying

Huge collection of Genesis games
2 of 2 found this helpful I was never really a big Sega fan back when they used to make systems, so I was excited when this game was released. Basically what you are getting is a collection of some of the best (supposedly) games for the Sega Genesis. A lot of the games are pretty rare and expensive such as the Shining Force games so it is a pretty good deal. If you have no interest in playing old Sega games then stop reading this and forget about buying it. For those that think that Sega has re-made the games with better graphics; the games look exactly the same; did you ever try to play a Super Nintendo on a 40” Plasma HDTV? Well, it doesn’t look good at all; everything is blurry and stretched out. The only thing that has been upgraded is the fact that the games can be played in HD but look just like they did in the 90s’.
As far as the games go, they are great. There is a huge variety of games from RPG’s (Phantasy Star 1,2,3, and 4, Shining Force 1 and 2, and some others), to action games (Streets of Rage 1, 2, and 3, Vectorman 1, and 2, etc) to platform games (Sonic…all of them, kid chameleon, etc) to puzzle games (columns, Dr. Robotniks Mean Bean Machine which is exactly like Kirby’s Avalanche for Super Nintendo down to the sound effects).
A lot of the games are great and I would highly recommend this game to someone like me who didn’t get to experience the Genesis because they were too busy with their SNES. I would also recommend this game to anyone interested in being a part of the history of video games. For those who played all of these games on the Genesis but no longer have them (Mom sold them at a garage sale, you moved and they went missing, etc) this is a great way to own a huge collection of Genesis games that are exactly how you remember them (except they still look good on a huge TV).
Pros:
- Huge collection of classic Genesis games.
- Looks great on an HDTV.
Cons:
- Younger or graphic obsessed games should stay away.

Shinobi Legions
3 of 4 found this helpful After playing Shinobi for Playstation 2, Shinobi Legions was definitely better off as a 2D game. Shinobi Legions plays like all of the games before it; you have your sword and ninja stars to attack enemies and you can collect special weapons to make battles easier. The levels in Shinobi Legions are well designed and can be very challenging. Overall, Legions is pretty challenging although some parts are easy. Legions also features cheesy videos in between levels that are pretty funny and entertaining. Compared to other games on the Saturn, Shinobi looks good, and the animations are smooth. In previous Shinobi games, you would only be able to use your sword on enemies if you were close to them. In Legions you can use your sword at any time which enables you a little more freedom. I would recommend this game to anyone who has a Sega Saturn even though Legions is pretty much the same as every other Shinobi game (minus a few features).
Pros:
- Fun 2D action game
- Great levels
Cons:
- A little too basic
